CORAL GABLES, Fla. — Drew Dwyer and Morgan Roberts’ honeymoon didn’t take place on a beach in Bora Bora.
They didn’t take a gondola ride in Venice.
Nor did they stroll the streets of Paris, stopping for an espresso at a sidewalk café.
Nope.
Their honeymoon was a recruiting visit.
Righthander Dwyer, 24, and former softball standout Roberts, 22, got married on June 30. The very next day, the newlyweds got up at 6 a.m. and drove two hours to the University of Miami, where they met with coaches and talked baseball, academics and more.
