Robert Wolfarth, a seasoned real estate professional and proud Miami native, brings over three decades of entrepreneurial experience to his new role as Chair of the Citizens’ Independent Transportation Trust (CITT). He was elected in early October and represents Miami-Dade County Commission District 4.
During his career, Mr. Wolfarth has developed thousands of housing units, including affordable housing along transit corridors. His experience and presence on the CITT’s District 4 seat have been instrumental in shaping the trust’s efforts to improve Miami’s transportation infrastructure.
Now, as the newly-elected Chair, Mr. Wolfarth says he looks forward to harnessing the collective talents and expertise of the trust’s members to continue realizing the shared vision of the People’s Transportation Plan, a community-driven initiative fueled by a half-penny sales surtax.
Mr. Wolfarth spoke with Miami Today reporter Genevieve Bowen.
