Family members of Northwest Miami-Dade shooting victim want answers, justice

MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. – Family members have revealed new details about the victim of a deadly shooting that occurred outside a northwest Miami-Dade home.

It happened on Monday afternoon outside a home on Northwest 93rd Street.

Nedra Allen told Local 10 News the victim was her niece, 26-year-old London Price.

“Always beautiful and pretty,” Allen said. “She’ll give you the shirt off her back, and I think that’s kind of what put her in this situation to get her hurt.”

Miami-Dade police officers have not confirmed the name of the victim.

Only identifying Price as a man who was shot to death in broad daylight.

Allen says Price was a transwoman.

“She got her name change, passport, went to the court and got everything done the right way,” Allen said. “”I know if you saw her face, you wouldn’t have said a she. So if you probably undressed her at the scene or whatever, then you want to say he because just looking at that beautiful face, and you saw the boobs, so you never would’ve said he.”

Detectives have not made an arrest in the case and have not released a description of the shooter, or a motive.

Allen said Price was living in the northwest Miami-Dade home with an ex-boyfriend, adding that they had trouble in the past.

Allen wants to know where Price’s ex-boyfriend is, and hopes he can help her family get answers.

“I want justice to be served,” she said.
