A $95M South Florida Estate Marketed as a Teardown Is the Week’s Most Expensive Home


A massive oceanfront estate in the Miami metro area has returned to the market, this time for $95 million, reduced from its $100 million list price in June.

And get this: The 25,867-square-foot mansion is being marketed as a teardown or renovation with approved plans. Its hefty price tag makes it this week’s most expensive home.

The estate in the tony neighborhood of Golden Beach is said to belong to Edith Newman and her late husband, Craig Electronics founder Joel Newman, according to Mansion Global.

Other pricey properties that hit the market this week include an oceanfront California estate once owned by TV stars Ozzie and Harriet Nelson, a Park City, UT, mansion slated for completion in 2025, and Palm Beach, FL, home boasting views of the Intracoastal Waterway.
