Suspicious package prompts evacuation of cargo building at Miami International Airport

MIAMI – A cargo building at Miami International Airport had to be evacuated Friday afternoon.
Officials said a K9 was alerted to a suspicious package at the Air France cargo building at around 5:20 p.m., prompting its evacuation.
Travelers were urged to follow up with their airlines for the latest information regarding their flights.
Miami-Dade police, who investigated the incident, gave the all-clear shortly before 9 p.m.
It is not clear what the content of the suspicious package was.
