The stars are out for Lionel Messi’s Inter Miami debut against Liga MX club Cruz Azul at DRV PNK Stadium on Friday. Here’s what you need to know:

LeBron James, Serena Williams, Kim Kardashian, Becky G and David and Victoria Beckham were among the biggest celebrities in attendance to witness his start with MLS.

The 36-year-old Messi, who came over from Paris Saint-Germain, signed a contract for two-and-a-half seasons with Inter Miami. He has an option to extend for a further year in the 2026 season.
