MLS vs. Liga MX TV schedule, where to live stream online


Lionel Messi makes his debut for Major League Soccer’s Inter Miami C.F. in the 2023 Leagues Cup — a contest between all 47 MLS and Liga MX teams — which kicks off Friday, July 21 (7/21/2023).

Every 2023 Leagues Cup match, including Messi’s first game, will be available to stream live via the MLS Season Pass on Apple TV+, with a small number of select matches broadcast on cable TV channels FS1, Univision and Unimas.

2023 Leagues Cup Group Stage schedule

The tournament begins with a Group Stage that runs through July 31. It features 45 matches between all 47 teams, except for MLS’s Los Angeles F.C. and Liga MX’s Pachuca, which each earned automatic byes into the Round of 32 by virtue of their recent league titles. Group Stage takes place in groups of three, divided up by East, West, Central and South regions.

Where can I live stream the Leagues Cup online?

Most of the games are only available to stream via the MLS Season Pass from Apple TV+. You don’t need to be an Apple TV+ subscriber to subscribe to MLS Season Pass, but Apple TV+ subscribers can get a discounted subscription to the service. MLS Season Pass does not come with a free trial.

Games on FS1, UniMas and Univision can be streamed on fuboTV, which comes with a 7-day free trial.

Cable subscribers can login on FoxSports.com, or associated apps, with their cable credentials to stream games on FS1 for free.

What is MLS Season Pass?

The MLS Season Pass on Apple TV is an essential subscription for American soccer fans. There are no blackouts, and you can tune in to every MLS game all season long. The $14.99 per month/$49 per year price tag also competes well with other premium sports league packages, like MLB TV for $139.99 annually or NFL Sunday Ticket for $293.94 per year.

MLS Season Pass is available exclusively through Apple TV, but you don’t need an Apple TV+ subscription in order to get the season pass. However, Apple TV+ customers can get a slight discount on the add on a for $12.99/month or $39/year.
