Jordi Alba ‘may miss Inter Miami unveiling as his wife prepares to give birth to their third child’
REVEALED: Jordi Alba ‘could MISS Inter Miami unveiling with Lionel Messi and Sergio Busquets’ as his wife is set to give birth to their third child any day
Inter Miami is just about one week away from revealing their major haul of transfers to revitalize their season. But one of those players may not be there.
Miami is getting ready to welcome Lionel Messi in the coming days – with the Argentinian World Cup winner bringing some of his former Barcelona friends along.
One of those is Sergio Busquets – who was unofficially confirmed via Instagram.
Another player, who the Miami Herald says has reportedly agreed to join, is Jordi Alba.
But the Spanish fullback might be unable to attend his own unveiling as his wife is due to give birth to their third child.
Alba’s wife, Romarey Ventura, has been posting images of her pregnancy on Instagram – with the latest post hinting that the little one may be arriving soon.
‘I can’t believe there are only days left to meet you,’ Ventura posted in Spanish. ‘We are looking forward to you, baby.’
The couple already have a pair of children: an older son, Piero and their youngest daughter, Bruna.
Alba is set to start a new journey after he and Barcelona agreed to terminate his contract a year early as the club goes through financial difficulties.
Messi is expected to be unveiled by the club at an event on July 16.
