MIAMI – Miami Fire Rescue crews battled a fire at a warehouse in the city’s Allapattah neighborhood Thursday morning.

The fire broke out just before 10 a.m. at 2180 NW 13th Ave., northwest of the Santa Clara Metrorail station. The area is home to multiple food distribution companies and other industrial businesses.

First responders blocked off a block-and-a-half of streets as they fought the fire.

Officials haven’t yet said whether anyone was hurt or described the extent of the damage.
