Kylian Mbappe has been pictured enjoying his holidays in Miami as he tried his hand at beach paddle tennis.
The PSG and France forward is currently on a summer break after a gruelling but hugely successful season.
For his club side, Mbappe netted 41 goals in 43 games, while he also added 13 more goals for Les Bleus across the past 12 months – which included winning the Golden Boot at the World Cup in Qatar.
However, there is currently uncertainty over his future with the Parisians after he confirmed a desire to leave the club upon the expiry of his contract in June 2024.
Mbappe was spotted on South Beach in Miami just days after his statement on the tragic French police shooting and subsequent riots in the suburbs of Paris – near to where he grew up.
A 17-year-old delivery driver – known as Nael M – was fatally shot by police during a routine traffic stop on Tuesday night.
This sparked angry scenes and violence among local residents who protested outside police headquarters, while cars were set on fire and riot police were attacked with fireworks, before they used tear gas in response to deal with the demonstrators.
Mbappe had tweeted: ‘I hurt for my France. An unacceptable situation. All my thoughts go out to Nael’s family and loves ones, this little angel who left far too soon.’
In the photos, the 24-year-old – who plays paddle tennis left-handed – was wearing navy shorts, a white vest and a blue bucket hat.
He seemed to be enjoying a highly-competitive game with a group of friends before he headed off back to his hotel on Miami’s South Beach.
Mbappe is expected to remain with PSG for next season despite speculation over his future.
In a statement released earlier this month, the forward pointed to the French giant’s ‘shortcomings’ and the departure of World Cup winner Lionel Messi as major factors in his decision not to renew his deal.
Real Madrid – who Mbappe snubbed last summer to pen a new contract – are seen as front-runners, while Liverpool, Chelsea and Man United have also been linked, although his reported £893,000-per-week wages are seen as a potential challenge for any suitor.
