Lionel Messi picks Miami, MLS over Barcelona and Saudi Arabia, per report

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (CBS12) — Soccer legend Lionel Messi is set to sign with Major League Soccer’s Inter Miami, according to CBS Sports’ Guillem Balague.

Messi will be leaving the Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) this month after spending two seasons there. Before that, he spent his entire career with Barcelona.

The superstar recently won the World Cup in December and will now bring his talents to South Florida.

Inter Miami reportedly beat out Barcelona and Saudi Arabia in signing Messi, per the CBS Sports report.
