Nuveen, Pebb, Thor Equities, Regency Centers Nab Tenants
Ironhack | loanDepot park | Miami
Tech education provider Ironhack opened at the Miami Marlins’ home stadium loanDepot park.
Ironhack leased 6,000 square feet of offices, classrooms and conference rooms at the stadium at 501 Marlins Way in Miami, according to a Marlins news release. Among the offerings at the space are nine-week, full-time programs in web development, Data analytics and UX/UI Design; and monthly workshops, hackathons and social tech events. Ironhack also will take part in the Marlins’ Tech Tuesday on May 16.
Ironhack and the Miami Marlins also have partnered, which means students at Ironhack will work on projects for the Major League Baseball team, such as tech-focused ways to improve the fan experience.
Founded in 2013, Ironhack has 10 campuses globally. Ariel Quinones is a co-founder.
Miami-Dade County owns the stadium, records show.
Lab22c advised Ironhack in the partnership with the Marlins, and Seagrove Realty represented the tenant in the lease.
Abbale Telavivian Kitchen | Aventura
Chef Sam Gorenstein and business partner Omer Horev’s Abbale Telavivian Kitchen will open in Aventura.
The Israeli and Mediterranean restaurant leased 4,000 square feet at 19999 Aventura Boulevard. It will have a 140-guest seating capacity, indoor and outdoor dining, and a 14-seat full bar, according to an Abbale Telavivian news release. The eatery will open in September.
Abbale is taking over the closed 800 Degrees Woodfired Kitchen space. Former Miami Heat star
Dwyane Wade and current Heat player Udonis Haslem opened 800 Degrees in 2018. They closed it in 2022 amid labor shortages and supply chain issues, according to the Miami Herald.
Jacksonville-based Regency Centers owns the building, according to property records. The site is adjacent to Aventura Mall.
The Aventura space marks Abbale’s second outpost. In 2021, Gorenstein and Horev opened the first Abbale Telavivian at 864 Commerce Street in Miami Beach’s South of Fifth neighborhood.
Horev and his wife, Jennifer Horev, are founders and owners of the Pura Vida restaurant.
Gorenstein is co-owner of Abbale.
Solis Mammography, Gaia Spa | Weston
Nuveen Real Estate has fully leased out its Weston Commons retail plaza, signing five new tenants.
In the biggest deal, breast cancer screening provider Solis Mammography took 2,900 square feet at the shopping center at 4501-4587 Weston Road in Weston, according to a news release from the landlord’s broker. Solis is expected to open this year.
Already open are clothing, jewelry and accessories shop White Lotus Boutique, which took 1,400 square feet for its first South Florida store; Gaia Spa, which took 2,200 square feet; and healthy food restaurant Goji Juicery and Kitchen, which took 1,400 square feet.
Fitness center Body20 leased 1,400 square feet, according to the release. The gym is expected to open in May.
Danny Diaz of CBRE represented the landlord.
New York-based Nuveen, the investment arm of TIAA, has roughly $156 billion of assets under management as of March of last year, according to the firm’s website. It’s led by Mike Sales.
The investment firm bought the 127,000-square-foot Weston Commons in 2006 for $53.5 million, according to records.
Retro Fitness, Crown Wine & Spirits | Delray Landing | Delray Beach
Pebb Enterprises signed four new tenants at its Delray Landing shopping plaza.
Retro Fitness will open in a 17,300-square-foot space, Crown Wine & Spirits in a 4,000-square-foot space, and Keke’s Breakfast Café in a 4,200-square-foot space at the retail center at 5024-5070 West Atlantic Avenue in Delray Beach, according to a Pebb news release. Also, a dental office leased 1,500 square feet.
Pebb, based in Boca Raton, is redeveloping Delray Landing, after purchasing it for $10.5 million in 2021, according to the release and records. Sprouts Farmers Market is the anchor. Other tenants include Burger King and Taco Bell. Pebb, led by Ian Weiner, bought the property in a joint venture with Cincinnati-based Topvalco.
Chama De Fogo Brazilian Steakhouse | Wynwood Walk
The first Chama De Fogo Brazilian Steakhouse — a concept by the creators of Oliveira’s Steak Bar & Grill based in Massachusetts — will open at Wynwood Walk.
Chama De Fogo signed a 15-year lease for 7,500 square feet at 230 Northwest 29th Street, according to the landlord’s news release. The restaurant is expected to open early next year.
Thor Equities, based in New York, owns Wynwood Walk on the southwest corner of Northwest 29th Street and Northwest Second Avenue. Founded and led by Joseph Sitt, Thor developed the 63,000-square-foot Wynwood Walk after paying $41.5 million for the site in 2015.
Existing tenants at the plaza include pizzeria and beer garden Bottled Blonde, miniature golf provider Puttery and Velvet Taco.

Avi & Co. | Miami Design District
Luxury watches and diamond jewelry store Avi & Co. will open a showroom in the Miami Design District.
Avi & Co. will open in 1,800 square feet on Thursday at 53 Northeast 40th Street, according to a company news release. The store will offer new and pre-owned watch brands such as Richard Mille, Patek Philippe, Audemars Piguet and Rolex, with prices ranging from $2,500 to $800,000.
Records show Oxfer Collection Corporation owns the 4,000-square-foot building, which was completed in 1961.
