Real estate aficionados get the chance to brush up on their local real estate knowledge quickly in 2023. Three organizations will kick off the new year with timely discussions regarding commercial and residential real estate.

▪ Jan. 11: The Florida CCIM Chapter of Miami-Dade/Monroe District will host its 2023 Commercial Real Estate Conference from 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Miami Airport & Convention Center at 711 NW 72nd Ave. Jeffrey Havsy, a Moody’s economist will give the keynote speech. The conference includes an update on insurance regulations and trends by state Sen. Ana Maria Rodriguez. Members pay $89, non-members $129. Register here.
▪ Jan. 20: Hungry for an economic forecast? Commercial Real Estate Women will feature a talk by Andrea Heuson, the director of real estate programs and a finance professor at the University of Miami. ▪ Jan. 26: The digital publication Bisnow organized the talk “Wynwood, Allapattah, and Little Havana: A deep dive into the curated transformations of growing Miami neighborhoods” for 8 a.m. at Hagerty Garage + Social at 355 NE 71st St. Real estate lawyers, developers and key community leaders will discuss how these three communities have transformed and what they expect continuing changes they expect to see in the coming years.
