Pitt-Miami to Conclude Regular Season with 8 PM Kickoff on Nov. 26

Pitt has played five primetime games this season. What’s one more?

Pitt will conclude the regular season with an 8 p.m. kickoff against Miami at Hard Rock Stadium on Nov. 26. The Coastal clash that was once hailed as a potential ACC championship game play-in game doesn’t hold the same stakes anymore.

The ACC Network will broadcast the game for those who will not be making the trip down to Coral Gables, Florida, and the crew calling the game will be announced later this week.

Miami, like Pitt, has had a disappointing season. Miami was picked as the preseason ACC Coastal favorite, but currently sits at 5-5 (3-3 ACC).

Miami started the season with blowout wins over Bethune-Cookman and Southern Miss but has since lost games to Texas A&M, Middle Tennessee State, North Carolina, Duke and Florida State.

With a matchup against Clemson this weekend, Miami’s bowl hopes could come down to beating Pitt in its regular season finale.

Pitt hasn’t fared well against Miami historically, holding an 11-29-1 record all-time, dating back to a 28-0 loss in Pittsburgh in 1950. Pitt has won just three of the last 25 meetings dating back to 1984.

Pitt’s last win against Miami came back in 2017, a 24-14 win to knock the then-No. 2 team in the country out of the College Football Playoff race. And Pitt hasn’t won in Miami since a 35-23 win in 2014.

Despite Kenny Pickett’s 519 yards and three touchdowns, Miami knocked off then-No. 17 Pitt at Heinz Field last season.
