Diana Ross just bought a Miami beach home for $15.5 million
Diana Ross has just purchased a contemporary new home in Biscayne Bay, Miami Beach, for $15.5 million.
The singer and actress rose to fame as the lead singer of the vocal group the Supremes – the band labeled as ‘Motown’s most successful act’ during the 1960s and one of the highest-selling girl groups of all time. It seems only right, therefore, that she has a home in Miami’s South Beach – a neighborhood that is famed for its unrivaled Floridian party scene.
Boasting a famed postcode and sleek, enviable architecture on the waterfront, Diana Ross’s new estate qualifies as one of the world’s best homes – and its interiors are just as noteworthy.

Once inside the home, you are greeted with white terrazzo floors that run throughout the property, from the great room to the open-plan chef’s kitchen with integrated appliances for an ‘invisible kitchen’ look.
The glass walls, which are among the most striking assets of the home, encourage indoor-outdoor living through its abundance of natural light and views across the estate’s exteriors. This area includes the infinity pool – arguably the pièce de résistance of the property – that has reset the standards for pool ideas everywhere, thanks to its view across the affluent bay.
While the infinity pool may be one of the best places to enjoy the view, it is closely rivaled by the sight from the main bedroom, which features another wall of glass that slides open to a private balcony. Detroit-born Diana Ross is joining a host of other celebrities who are known to reside in the Miami Beach area. Notable homeowners include Madonna, Sylvester Stallone, Gloria Estefan, and Lenny Kravitz.
Diana can choose to spend her time in the densely developed north – which is known as the heart of the Miami metropolitan area – or the south, which remains undeveloped. Here, she can visit the lagoon, which is the most famous part of Biscayne National Park.
The I’m Coming Out singer has formally lived in a luxury mansion in Greenwich, Connecticut, and is said to have owned two homes in Los Angeles – one located in Venice, and the other just above the Sunset Strip.
