Beckham aims to lure Cristiano Ronaldo to Inter Miami
Cristiano Ronaldo is not happy at Manchester United and it seems that his departure from the Premier League club in January is more than likely. There are many teams that were linked with the Portuguese star last summer, but in the end he stayed with the Red Devils.
Now, and after several substitute appearances, rumours of possible destinations for Cristiano are again emerging.
Recent reports from journalist Pedro Almeida indicate that David Beckham has recently been in direct contact with Cristiano Ronaldo to try to convince him to join MLS and specifically Inter Miami in 2023.
One of the reasons would be the departure of Gonzalo Higuain. The Argentine is expected to leave Inter Miami and Cristiano could be the ideal replacement.
Beckham has long been keen on Leo Messi but the Argentine has a chance of returning to Barcelona in the summer which would make that move difficult.
The aforementioned journalist also pointed out that although negotiations have taken place, an agreement between Beckham, the MLS club and Cristiano Ronaldo’s entourage is a long way from being finalised, as the Portuguese wants to stay in Europe.
