The NFL and NFLPA concluded their joint investigation into the injury sustained by MIami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa against the Buffalo Bills on Sept. 25, and released a joint statement Saturday.
As one should have expected, the statement concluded that the concussion protocols were followed properly and the medical personnel — both from the Dolphins and the unaffiliated neurotrauma consultant (UNC) — had no reason to believe that Tagovailoa sustained a concussion against the Bills, four days before he did sustain a concussion in the Thursday night game against the Cincinnati Bengals.
