Kim Kardashian Talks Being Single and Dating on James Corden

Kim Kardashian is single and ready to mingle — but with someone a little less high-profile this time around. The reality star stopped by “The Late Late Show” on Sep. 14 and dished on her dating life in the wake of her recent split from Pete Davidson. For now, it sounds like the mother of four isn’t looking to rush into a new relationship. “I haven’t really thought about it because I’m not looking,” she told host James Corden. “I just want to chill for a minute. I think I need some time to myself and to focus, finish school, all that.” (As a reminder, she’s currently studying law, with hopes to one day open her own firm that hires formerly incarcerated people.)

When Kardashian is ready to reenter the dating pool, she wants to shake things up and pursue a partner who’s far outside of her usual Hollywood circle. “I feel like I have to go to different places. Clearly it’s not working, whatever I’m doing,” she joked before rattling off several rather specific occupations she’s interested in. “Maybe [I’ll go to] a hospital and meet a doctor. A law firm. I think it’s gonna be scientist, neuroscientist, biochemist, doctor, attorney. That’s maybe what I envision in the future.” You heard it here first, folks: If you see Kardashian lurking in the halls of your local hospital, don’t be alarmed. She’s simply on the hunt for a potential boyfriend.

A neurosurgeon would be quite the switch-up for Kardashian, whose dating history includes several men in the public eye. Prior to her nine-month romance with Davidson, the Skims founder was married to Kanye West, who she split from in 2021, and also had short-lived marriages with basketball player Kris Humphries and music producer Damon Thomas.
