Sophie Thatcher’s Black Bob Haircut at the Emmys 2022

“Yellowjackets” star Sophie Thatcher is making a statement at the 2022 Emmys. On Sept. 12, the actor, who plays teen Natalie in the Showtime drama series, pulled up to the red carpet with a striking new bob haircut. Thatcher’s chin-length cut featured wispy, side-swept bangs in an electric black shade.

It’s a different look than we’re used to seeing from the star. On the show, Thatcher’s character is known for her shaggy blond hair and bangs, so it only makes sense that this red carpet look completely caught us by surprise. Prior to this look at the Emmys, Thatcher had a short pixie haircut in a copper color.

Thatcher has a big night ahead at the award show. “Yellowjackets” is nominated for eight awards, including outstanding drama series. The series debuted on Showtime earlier this year and immediately had viewers captivated with its intriguing plot line. The series follows the aftermath of a plane crash carrying a high school girls’ soccer team.
