KENDALL, Fla. – A suspect has been detained after someone notified police about an armed person on the Kendall campus of Miami Dade College, authorities confirmed Wednesday morning.

According to Miami-Dade police, the caller reported that the suspect was riding a bicycle on the campus at 11011 SW 104th St.

The campus was placed on lockdown until police located the suspect.

No other details were immediately released.
