RPT Realty Bags Mary Brickell Village Retail Center in Miami for $216M
New York, NY-based RPT Realty has completed its $216-million acquisition of Mary Brickell Village, a 200,503-square-foot, Publix-anchored mixed-use retail center with an 875-space parking garage in the Brickell district of Miami, FL
Danny Finkle, Chris Angelone, Matthew Lawton, Eric Williams and Kim Flores of JLL represented the sellers, Boston, MA based Rockpoint and Ivanhoe Cambridge, in the transaction.
Mary Brickell Village is anchored by a high-volume Publix and Miami’s only LA Fitness Signature Club. Additional tenants include leading retailers and popular restaurants such as P.F. Chang’s, Shake Shack, Blue Martini and Starbucks.
The property was constructed in 2008 and renovated between 2018 and 2020.
Mary Brickell Village is positioned on a 5.2-acre site on South Miami Avenue, an infill, transit-oriented location that sees high vehicle and pedestrian traffic. The property has 18.4 million square feet of office space, more than 147,000 daytime employees, over 6,600 hotel rooms and 76,000 residents within 10 blocks.
