1. The 12 jurors and 10 alternates who will decide whether Nikolas Cruz receives the death penalty or life in prison for the Parkland school shooting made a rare visit to the scene of the crime on Thursday along with a select number of journalists. Large pools of dried blood still stained classroom floors and scenes of the chaos that day were still present. (WSVN)

2. A Miami attorney who specializes in representing victims of sexual assault is now accused of raping a woman. Adam Bair, 39, is facing charges of sexual battery and false imprisonment. (WPLG Local 10)

3. Low Key is a new bar and restaurant in Little River serving local seafood dishes and frozen cocktails for guests to enjoy. The project is being run by Brian Griffiths and Chef James McNeal. It is sharing space with Rosie’s. (Eater Miami)

4. Brian Leonard Arno, 31, of Georgia is accused of leading police in Fort Lauderdale on a high speed ATV chase. The arrest report says he was doing “wheelie tricks” on a yellow and black Yamaha Raptor ATV at about 7:30 p.m. on July 23. (NBC Miami)

5. A South Florida animal rescuer, Liz Jones, crawled through a storm drain in Delray Beach to rescue a six-week-old kitten trapped in the pipe for days. She said it wasn’t her first time crawling into a storm drain to save an animal and it probably will not be her last. (Miami Patch)
