Here are the top five stories today in Miami:
1. A 67-year-old man was shot dead outside of a Coral Gables condominium on Friday morning. Two teens have been charged with first degree murder in the incident after robbing and then killing the man, police said. It happened at 10 Aragon Condominium located at 10 Aragon Avenue just after 10 a.m. (Subscription: Miami Herald, Free: NBC Miami)
2. An affiliate of the Related Group has paid $48 million for an affordable senior housing community in Boynton Beach at $200,000 a unit. The apartments last sold for $21.1 million in 2007 and more than doubled in value. (Subscription: South Florida Business Journal)
3. A fugitive who brutally stabbed his ex-girlfriend in a Miami bar more than 20 years ago has been extradited back to South Florida from Guatemala to face murder charges, authorities said. Walter Saul Perez, 63, was booked into jail on Friday for first-degree murder, second-degree attempted murder and aggravated battery charges. (NBC Miami)
4. Superstar Kid Cudi walked off stage midway through his headlining set at the Rolling Loud festival in Miami on Friday after the crowd repeatedly hit him with water bottles. The incident was captured by concertgoers and shared on TikTok. (EW)
5. The Broward Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help for any information that may lead them to a man they say threatened a man with a machete and then shot him last month in Oakland Park. (Miami Patch)
