Ceiling and floor for Kyle Lowry’s role in 2022-23 season
Kyle Lowry’s first Miami Heat season was an up-and-down one, to say the least. Some fans thought Lowry did a fine job and some fans wanted more.
During the regular season, Lowry helped Miami stay afloat as they dealt with a myriad of injury issues. Lowry also missed some times due to injuries and personal issues of his own as well.
Lowry definitely frustrated during the regular season. There are times when Lowry needs to shoot more, plain and simple.
When it comes to his patented pull-up threes, you look back to when he was in Toronto, he was great with that shot in transition. In Miami this past season, Lowry didn’t do it as much.
No, nobody is looking for Lowry to break the defense down and create his own shot, but taking his good opportunities is a must.
With Miami already having a difficult time in the half court and their struggles, at times, running on the break, there were opportunities for Lowry to make some things happen and he passed them up.
