Here are the top five stories in Miami today:

1. A South Florida artist and political activist has reached out to a Broward County high school asking to lead a Satanic invocation at one of its football games after the U.S. Supreme Court backed a high school football coach’s right to pray at the 50-yard line. (Miami Patch)

2. The “world’s largest Bitcoin conference,” The Bitcoin 2023 conference, will return next year to South Florida. The conference will be a three-day event with cryptocurrency thought leaders, businesses and more. This year’s conference drew 26,000 attendees. (Subscription: Miami INNO)

3. A 20-year-old man kidnapped a mental health worker and held her hostage at his Boca Raton home for about 15 hours, raping, beating and threatening to kill the woman, according to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office. Tzvi Allswang faces multiple charges and was denied bond Thursday morning. (WPLG Local 10)

4. Saloni Bar by Meraki, a European-style bar that can only be accessed through a hidden door in the bathroom alley of Meraki, has opened in downtown Miami. The menu focuses on natural wines from small, family-owned wineries in Greece and Italy. Food is prepared by executive chef and owner Giannis Kotsos with a Greek focus. (Eater Miami)

5. A volunteer at Fairchild Tropical Gardens in Coral Gables is accused of filming people in an employee bathroom. Justin A. Torres, 19, was arrested Thursday on two counts of video voyeurism, an arrest report said. (NBC Miami)
