Here are the top five stories in Miami today:

1. Jurors chosen to decide whether Parkland school shooter Nikolas Cruz is executed will visit a bloodstained crime scene, view graphic photos and videos and listen to intense emotional testimony. They will be responsible for bearing the weight of this on their own. (CBS Miami)

2. A Lauderhill man with a history of slipping and falling has been charged with insurance fraud, court records show. 53-year-old Kevin Lorenzo Nicholson was arrested Sunday for an alleged incident that happened February 12, 2020. (NBC Miami)

3. Miami police are investigating a shooting that occurred Monday morning at La Portena in Little Havana. Anyone with information is asked to call Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at 305-471-8477. (WPLG Local 10)

4. Travis Scott performed at Miami nightclub E11even on Saturday in celebration of the Fourth of July weekend. Scott played his first public show since the Astroworld tragedy at the same club in May. (Page Six)

5. Alaska Airlines recently resumed service to Miami International Airport from Seattle earlier this month, using a flight number that is special to Miami. It had also already scheduled a frequency increase. (The Next Miami)
