Here are the top five stories today in Miami:
1. Patch has your complete guide to Independence Day fireworks shows, parades and other celebrations in and around Miami. Options include the 63rd annual Key Biscayne 4th of July Parade, Fire on the Fourth, 19th annual Fourth of July Concert & Fireworks Show and more. (Miami Patch)
2. Miami Mayor Francis Suarez received two tickets, valued at $20,000, to a Heat game in March from Key Biscayne businessman Sean Wolfington, according to public financial disclosure documents released this week. Questions were raised in May about how Suarez received tickets to games he attended, but these disclosures do not cover that time period. (Subscription: Miami Herald)
3. A South Florida man, 29-year-old Brandon Burris, has been arrested and charged with second-degree murder following a fatal shooting of an employee at the Clevelander Hotel in Miami Beach. Family friends have identified the victim as 50-year-old Dion Moore. (WSVN)
4. Ladarius Antonio Lane-Berry, 32, of Miami Gardens, a former Jacksonville firefighter, was arrested Thursday on 30 charges that include Driving Under The Influence (DUI), child neglect, evidence tampering and reckless driving, court records show. Broward Circuit Judge Phoebee Francois set bonds totaling $420,000. (NBC Miami)
5. PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), a London-based global professional services firm, will open a 38,409-square-foot office in Miami’s Wynwood Arts District in 2023. The new location will be used for onboarding and recruitment of new employees. (Subscription: South Florida Business Journal)

- New video shows 3 people smashing car windows outside apartments in South Florida’s Pembroke Pines. Pembroke Pines Police say the incident happened in the parking lot Camden Portofino Apartments between 4:30 and 6 a.m. on Thursday. (WSVN)
- Dunkin’ of South Florida recently announced that $43,500 will be granted locally to Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital, Nicklaus Children’s Hospital and Salah Foundation Children’s Hospital through the Dunkin’ Joy in Childhood Foundation. (Miami’s Community News)
- City of Coral Gables is using its Fourth of July celebration at the Biltmore Hotel as a test run for its new drone program. Police say drones will be used to monitor crowds, traffic and any incidents that could occur. (WPLG Local 10)
- A South Florida federal grand jury has indicted three men in connection with a global cryptocurrency scheme that stole around $100 million from investors. (Subscription: Miami Herald)
