Miami offers four-star SF Reid Ducharme
Miami has extended an offer to Wolfeboro (N.H.) Brewster Academy four-star small forward Reid Ducharme.
Ducharme, who stands 6-foot-4 and weighs 165 pounds, is the 19th-best small forward and 101st-best overall prospect in the 2023 class according to the 247Sports composite rankings.
He has taken official visits to Syracuse and Penn State this month and is scheduled to visit Xavier on Wednesday.
He also has offers from Northwestern, Creighton, Iowa and Stanford among others.
As far as what he is looking for in a program, Ducharme told Travis Branham of 247Sports earlier this month: “Coaches that I can be real with, they’re honest with me and can develop me as a player. I am looking for that close relationship, that hard work and honesty.”
Ducharme added that he wants “to be committed before the start of next season in the fall.”
Ducharme plays for BABC in the Nike EYBL summer circuit. He averaged 13.6 points, 3.8 rebounds and 2.6 assists in five games at the last session in Louisville in May. He shot 41.0 percent from the field, 21.7 percent from 3 and 81.3 percent from the free-throw line.
His best game was a 23-point performance on 9-of-19 shooting including a pair of 3-pointers in a 73-54 win over the Indy Heat. He also grabbed six rebounds and dished out three assists.
He plays with two other players on BABC who have Miami offers in shooting guard Tre Norman and power forward TJ Power.
Miami also offered two of Ducharme’s high school teammate, four-star center JP Estrella and four-star shooting guard Solomon Ball.
Miami is looking for its first commitment in the 2023 class.
