1 woman dead after rollover crash in Miami Co. – WHIO TV 7 and WHIO Radio

MIAMI COUNTY — One woman has died after a single-vehicle rollover crash in Miami County.

We called the Miami County Sheriff’s Office, and they confirmed crews were called to a crash in the 10000 Block of Fenner Road around 12:30 a.m.

Previous reports suggested the driver crashed into a pole. However, new information shows she did not.

The sheriff’s office told us the driver drove off the road, causing the vehicle to roll over.

When crews arrived at the scene, they found the driver lying under the vehicle.

Miami County Sheriff Dispatch originally told us the victim was transported to an area hospital via CareFlight.

New information shows CareFlight was at the crash ready to take the victim to the hospital, however, medics pronounced her dead at the scene before crews could transport her.

Further details have not been given at this time.
