Police are investigating after a car crashed into a northeast Miami home early Wednesday morning, killing two people and sending two others to the hospital.
Miami Police said the crash took place just after 5 a.m. in the 300 block of Northeast 82nd Street. Miami Fire Rescue Capt. Ignatius Carroll said the car appeared to have lost control and crashed into the home before catching fire.
Carroll said two people inside the car died while another person was taken to an area hospital in critical condition. A total of five people were inside the home at the time of the crash with one person taken to the hospital.
Police did not confirm the identities of the victims or any details of the crash at this time.
