French Bee inaugurates flights to Los Angeles and announces arrival in Miami

On April 30, French Bee inaugurated its flights between Paris-Orly (ORY) and Los Angeles (LAX) with three weekly flights operated by Airbus A350-900 with 411 seats in two classes, this is the third destination of the French low-cost airline in the United States.

Starting in June, the company will increase its operation to five flights per week beginning in June, then in July, it will increase to six times per week. According to data obtained by Aviacionline through Cirium, French Bee will have an offer of more than 46,000 seats per month in 112 air operations.

The Los Angeles and Paris segment is one of the transatlantic routes with the highest O&D demand in the market according to data compiled by Aviacionline through the U.S. Department of Transportation (DoT) in 2019 between the two cities 1,047,049 passengers were mobilized.

For the 2022 boreal summer season, French Bee along with LEVEL and Norse Atlantic Airways will be the only low-cost carriers to offer flights from Europe to the U.S. West Coast, replacing the void of the defunct Norwegian Long Haul.

New destination in Florida

For the boreal winter 2022/2022, the French low-cost airline will debut a new destination in the state of Florida, starting December 15 it will begin flying non-stop between Paris (ORY) and Miami (MIA) with three weekly flights on 480-passenger Airbus A350-1000s in two classes.

For the time being, French Bee will be the only low-cost carrier to connect to South Florida from Orly International Airport (ORY). The company will compete against other legacy carriers in this segment such as Air France and American Airlines which offer their services from Paris – Charles de Gaulle (CDG).

The airline will operate four destinations in the United States and two routes in overseas territories, and its fleet will consist of four Airbus A350-900s and two Airbus A350-1000s.
