Should Bam Adebayo Get Back To A Bit More Playmaking?
Watching the Miami Heat’s matchup with Boston, it was clear that this is a good Heat team. They held their own against the hottest team in the league, despite having internal problems and suffering a recent losing streak over the past week or so.
These types of performances are important, especially against good teams that are conference rivals. That’s, especially, considering the Miami Heat had been yet to defeat the Celtics in two previous attempts this season.
One area of focus and one that might have gone under the radar for some, was Bam Adebayo‘s playmaking. Bam finished the night with eight assists, more than double his season and career average.
Bam is a big man, so it’s not necessarily his job to make plays and set up his teammates, but against the Celtics, he found success with it. In the second quarter, he assisted Tyler Herro twice, both happening within a minute of each other.
Mind you, these aren’t wild passing angles that no one else would see, but they count all the same.
