MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. – Fire crews were called out to a grass fire that began burning in southwest Miami-Dade County late Tuesday afternoon.

The flames were located in the area of Southwest 136th Avenue and 8th Street.

Crews were attempting to drop water from helicopters in hopes of containing the blaze.

Wind appeared to be bellowing the flames away from nearby populated areas.

There has been no word from officials on what sparked the fire.
