The Miami Heat are one of the best teams in the entire league this season. Currently sitting at number one in the NBA’s Eastern Conference, nursing a two-game lead over the second placed Milwaukee Bucks for the top spot, they are also a top-four team in the entire league.
While that isn’t a far cry from where the Miami Heat were two years ago, during their NBA Bubble run, it is quite the ways from where they were last season.
Coming into last year, seemingly, run down off the quick turnaround and the deep run in the season prior, with just about 60 days or so separating the two different NBA “seasons”, the Miami Heat looked like they never recharged for much of the year.
It wasn’t just a problem during the regular year though. It especially showed up in the playoffs, though for only one round, as the Miami Heat were swept out early by the Milwaukee Bucks.
With that fate, it made the questions even louder about the Miami Heat’s relevance and how much of their run the previous season was due to the actual conditions and not the aptitude of their team. People actually questioned the legitimacy, even going as far as to refer to them as the Bubble Frauds or the Bubble Boys.
The Miami Heat are a surefire contender for the title this year. Unlike some might’ve thought, they aren’t to be anybody’s ‘Dangerous Loomers’.
However, no one has much to say this season. Well, except a guy that plays for the Miami Heat that always has a ton to say.

Averaging 25.4 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 3.6 assists per game on about 51.2 percent shooting from the floor and almost 44 percent from range across his last 10 games, if anyone can say this, it’s this dude. He has routinely gone off in second periods recently as well, scoring 20 or more points in multiple second quarters across his latest run of point production.
As he stated, the rest of the league should be well aware now that this Miami Heat team can play anywhere, especially outside of the bubble. Though the East will be extremely tough this year to navigate, no team, likely, wants to be looking a long series in the face with the Miami Heat on the other side either.
