The Miami Heat enter Friday evening’s contest fresh off of a blowout defeat on their home floor at the hands of the best team in the league. The Phoenix Suns obliterated the Miami Heat in the second half of the game, starting from the very onset of the second sector, leading to a final tally that was as lopsided as a sliding board.

That was that, a terrible defeat. Ironically enough, it’s a challenger for the most disappointing one of the year, tied with the recent contest against the Milwaukee Bucks.

Something to take note of after that contest as well though, one that saw several crucial late-game turnovers and the allowance of a Bucks offensive surge, the Miami Heat would go on to ring off the next three straight. It’s worth noting that they did so against a couple of quality opponents and in adverse circumstances as well.

That was until the Phoenix game, of course, but that does lead to something interesting. Bare with us for a second.
