Special needs student goes missing, last seen at Miami Senior High

MIAMI – Authorities in Miami-Dade County are searching for a missing teenager.

According to police, 17-year-old Brithany Martinez is a special needs student who was last seen on Monday at 7:15 a.m. at Miami Senior High School.

She is described as 5-foot-3, 130 lbs. with black hair and brown eyes.

She was last seen wearing a pink scarf, black jacket, grey hoodie and white Converse shoes with a white Adidas bookbag.

Police said she is believed to be traveling to California to meet with a relative.
