Slippery roads cause crashes across Miami Valley Sunday – WHIO TV 7 and WHIO Radio
MIAMI VALLEY — Snowy and icy roads are being reported throughout the Miami Valley as a winter weather system moved through the area Sunday.
Several crashes were reported throughout the evening as road conditions have deteriorated:
>> Multiple semis, ambulance involved in West Carrollton crash
- Around 7:15 p.m. near the intersection of Hawkins and Ford in Xenia Twp., a multiple vehicle crash possibly involving a snow plow was reported, according to emergency dispatch traffic.
- Around 6:55 p.m. on I-75 south near Dryden Road in Moraine a three vehicle crash happened. One person was taken to the hospital, however the extent of their injuries was not immediately available. The left lanes of the highway were blocked while crews cleaned up the crash.
- Around 6:53 p.m. on I-675 just south of Indian Ripple Road in Beavercreek a crash was reported on the highway, according to emergency dispatch traffic.

- Around 6:45 p.m. in the 4300 block of Burkhardt Road near the Dayton and Riverside border, a crash was reported to have injuries and involve a utility pole possibly being hit, according to emergency dispatch traffic.
