NOTICE TO BIDDERS Sealed proposals from Contractors / Suppliers for the construction of the MIAMI PUBLIC SCHOOLS JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL DOORS & WINDOW REPLACEMENT, for selected bid packages to be received by MIAMI PUBLIC SCHOOLS (the “Owner”), BREWER CONSTRUCTION COMPANY OF EASTERN OKLAHOMA (the Construction Manager), and BWA ARCHITECTS, PLLC (the Architect). All bids will be received at the MIAMI PUBLIC SCHOOLS, 26 N Main, MIAMI, OKLAHOMA 74354 on February 1, 2022 at 2:00 pm, at which time all bids will be opened and publicly read. The Contract Documents will be available for examination beginning January 11, 2022, at 12 pm at the office of Brewer Construction Company in Chouteau, Oklahoma and at Miami Public Schools, Superintendent’s Office, Miami, Oklahoma. The Contract Documents will also be available for examination beginning January 11, 2022, online at Isqft.com and McGraw-Hill Construction Dodge and the following Tulsa area locations: Southwest Construction News. Bids received more than ninety six (96) hours, excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays, before time set for opening bids, as well as bids received after time set for opening bids, will not be considered and will be returned unopened. A cashier’s check, certified check, or surety bond in amount of five percent (5%) of the base bid and all alternates shall be accompany the sealed proposal of each bidder. Deposits will be returned to unsuccessful bidders. The bidding documents, including the drawings and specifications, may be obtained from Brewer Construction Company, Project Construction Manager, 701 South Chouteau Ave, Chouteau, Oklahoma 74337, Phone (918) 476-5811 upon receipt of a deposit of One Hundred Fifty Dollars ($ 150.00) per set, refundable if bidding documents are returned in good condition within 7 days of bid date. All Bidders for this project are required to meet all qualification requirements as established in these bid documents. Furthermore, each Bidder may not withdraw his bid within 60 days after the actual date of the opening of bids. Bidders are to refer to Construction Manager’s Bid Book for the listing of individual bid packages. The Construction Manager and Architect will conduct a pre-bid conference on JANUARY 25, 2022 @ 10 AM at the MIAMI HIGH SCHOOL, 2000 East Central Avenue, MIAMI, OKLAHOMA 74354. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality, or to reject any or all bids.
