Observations of five Miami targets at City of Palms; Day 1

The 48th annual City of Palms Classic is underway in Fort Myers, Fla. and Miami targets had impressive performances.

Miami head coach Jim Larranaga was on hand for the games at Florida SouthWestern State College with close eyes on a pair of signees in four-star power forward AJ Casey and three-star small forward Christian Watson.

Five games were held on the first day of action, which resumes Saturday of the week-long event that is arguably the best high school basketball tournament in the country with 75 current NBA players having played in the tournament including six No. 1 overall draft picks.
