David Hunt Solomon To Develop $25 Million Venetian Islands Waterfront Estate Designed By Touzet Studio — PROFILE Miami
A team of industry visionaries led by David Hunt Solomon have revealed plans to develop a $25 million state-of-the-art showpiece estate in Miami Beach’s exclusive Venetian Islands. Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices EWM Realty top-producer David Hunt Solomon announced that he has brokered and purchased a prime, 10,833-square-foot waterfront lot at 415 East Rivo Alto Drive for $6.959 million, simultaneously revealing steps to transform the east-facing property into a turnkey designer haven under the direction of internationally renowned architects Carlos Prio-Touzet and Jacqueline Gonzalez Touzet from Touzet Studio.
The groundbreaking is scheduled for May of next year, with completion slated for September 2023. Solomon purchased the home through 415 E Rivo Alto Drive, LLC, an entity he manages.
Long considered a hotspot for the global elite, the Rivo Alto enclave is home to a host of high-profile residents, including billionaire entrepreneur Peter Theil and Rialto Capital founder Jeff Krasnoff.
“We are now giving our buyer the opportunity to live next to Miami Beach royalty on the red-hot Venetian Islands — and within walking distance of Sunset Harbor…all expertly constructed with a mindful, design-driven approach,” said Solomon.
The two-story, 5,349-square-foot home will encompass five bedrooms, six full baths and two half baths, plus staff quarters, and feature landscaping by Mercedes Porcari from Exoticscape & Associates Landscape Architecture. It will additionally have a 500-square-foot two-car garage and 60 feet of waterfront with open bay views of the Standard Hotel and Sunset Harbor.
Details and amenities will include a new seawall; 40,000-pound capacity boat lift; 400-square-foot platform dock; 800 square feet of outdoor deck space; a reinforced concrete folded plate roof; heated swimming pool with waterfall; warm wood accents; terrazzo floors with metal inlay; exterior stone arranged in random ashlar pattern; cast-in-place architectural concrete elements; custom finished aluminum screens; wrought iron railings; water features and beyond. The home is being constructed above base flood elevation, and with its east-facing orientation, the property will capture year-round cool breezes.
“This home will be one-of-a-kind — an instant draw for well-heeled buyers looking to secure a truly customized, never-before-lived-in residence in one of the world’s most spectacular settings,” added Solomon. “I’m so proud to be building this residence in tandem with Touzet Studio. Our combined insight into what today’s sophisticated, savvy consumers are searching for will be underscored by this stunning retreat. My vision encompasses and combines history, culture, art, music, technology and architecture to build the only authentic home of its kind.”
