NBA Star Kyle Lowry Sells Toronto Home at a Loss
Kyle Lowry, point guard for the NBA’s Toronto Raptors, has sold his five-bedroom, 10-bathroom mansion in Toronto for C$5.12 million (US$4.04 million). He paid C$5.25 million for the property in 2017, when he signed a three-year contract worth C$100 million with the team. The 34-year-old star is rumored to be traded soon to the either the Philadelphia 76ers or Cleveland Cavaliers. Toronto Star
Zaha Hadid’s Former Miami Beach Home Lists for $8 Million
A combined condo apartment that was once home to the late architect Zaha Hadid has hit the market for $8 million. The 2,541-square-foot residence has three bedrooms, four bathrooms and a studio suite. Hadid, who died in Miami Beach in 2016, purchased the two units separately in 2010 and 2015, and combined them. Her estate sold it in 2018 for $5.8 million. The Real Deal
Best-Selling Author Maria Alejandra Llamas Sells Coconut Grove, Florida, Home
Mexican-American author Maria Alejandra Llamas, whose popular books include “El Arte de la Pareja,” “El Arte de Educar,” and “Maestría de Vid,” and her husband, Genaro Diaz Lozano, CEO of real estate investment and management firm GreenWater Investments, sold their home in the Coconut Grove neighborhood of Miami for $8.7 million. The couple bought the 1.1-acre property in 2016 for $2.75 million and had a new house built. The single-story house has 9,323 square feet of interior living space with six bedrooms and seven-and-a-half bathrooms. The Real Deal
